- The Liberian Collections Project. (2003-present) Led preservation efforts for a salvage expedition to recover President W.V.S. Tubman’s personal papers, the personal papers and field recordings of Bai. T. Moore, and the personal papers of E. Reginald and Evelyn Diggs Townsend; performed condition surveys for the Liberian National and Presidential Archives; provided training in preservation and archival methods to Liberian archivists (2005); Worked with LCP staff to develop successful grant proposals to the British Library Endangered Archives Programme and the Africana Librarians Council (2004-7); Provide ongoing guidance on preservation and archival management issues facing the LCP.
- Digital Preservation Outreach and Education (DPOE): Baseline Curriculum Workshops. (2012-2017) Served as curriculum developer and advisory board member for DPOE, which provides training cohorts of regional experts, who in turn train librarians and archivists in their area and act as a mutually supporting national expert network; lead regional “train-the-trainer” workshops under the auspices of the Library of Congress’ DPOE program.
- National Digital Stewardship Residency (NDSR). (2012-2017) Served on the curriculum development panels and advisory board, and lead training sections for Residents. NDSR pairs recent graduates with institutions in a highly selective work-study program that creates a regional cohort of young professionals.
- Institute of Museum and Library Services. (2005) Consulted on and classroom tested the Masters-level curricula and teaching materials created by NEDCC, Simmons College and other research partners as part of a Librarians for the 21st Century grant.
- American Industrial Hygiene Association & Czech Republic. Videoconference: Prague and Bloomington, IN. (October 16, 2003) Consulted with conservators and disaster responders on salvage of cultural heritage collections in the wake of flooding of the Vltava River.
